4/5: CONSUME | An ephemeral dinner

29th of November, 5 pm – 10 pm | Restaurant Kuurna in Helsinki

The beauty of food as a material lays in its short-lived character. Once it has been eaten, all what is left are memories and the experience. Together with chef Antto Melasniemi, co-owner of Restaurant Kuurna in Kruununhaka, and food activist Salla Kuuluvainen, we prepared an ephemeral dinner for our guests. A small workshop preceded the dinner, during which the first half of the guests prepared the starters for their avecs. Root vegetables were turned into cutlery, and plates were shaped out of crispbread dough.
